Hello, we’re Hess Photography.
We’re Adam and Michaela, a husband-and-wife photography team based in Houghton-le-Spring, capturing weddings, newborns and families across the North East and beyond.
While we share a love of photography, we each have our own little corner of Hess Photography.
Adam is the face behind our wedding photography, capturing wedding days naturally and unobtrusively, with a focus on genuine moments, real emotion and all the bits in between.
Michaela is the heart of our studio, specialising in newborn and family photography and creating relaxed, timeless images of the people you love most. You’ll sometimes find Adam behind the camera here too, Hess Photography has always been very much a family affair.
